Alaskabou Green Streamer Fly
The Alaskabou fly pattern was first conceived by George Cook and it has been tied in numerous color combinations. Alaskabou flies are all constructed with a tinsel flash body and palmered marabou. The flies are tied on 7999 salmon hooks. Palmering the marabou gives the fly a distinctive teardrop shape when drawn through the water. The Alaskabou has established a reputation as a great attractor fly for Steelhead, Coho Salmon, Bass, Chinook salmon, Pike, Pink Salmon, and Chum Salmon.
