Streamer Flies

Streamers are superior flies with the help of one can fish on an active retrieve. These flies replicate baitfish, crayfish, leeches and large aquatic insects like hellgrammites. These flies are designed for fishing on a tight line that is either being retrieved by pulling in your line or by swinging the fly in a river.  Most of these flies replicate baitfish and are often used to target large predatory fish that are feeding on smaller baitfish.  While most of these are tied with trophy trout fishing on the other hand many of them will also work for Bass, Steelhead, Striped Bass, Salmon and other fish that prey upon small minnows.  Sculpin are the most common forage fish in North American Trout Rivers.
